About the event
Boy to Young Man — 2-Day Rites of Passage Camp
A Transformational Father–Son Journey Into Healthy Young Manhood
Event Overview
Human Rites invites boys aged 9–13 and their fathers or male mentors to a powerful 2-day initiation camp that honours one of life’s most important transitions: the movement from boyhood toward young manhood.
Grounded in the teachings of Arne Rubinstein’s Making of Men and the internationally recognised Rites of Passage Institute model, this camp offers a meaningful, modern rite of passage built on three essential pillars:Challenge • Connection • Celebration
Over two days, fathers and sons step out of everyday routines and into an immersive environment that supports growth, emotional honesty, teamwork, and stronger relationships. Through carefully designed processes, nature-based challenges, fireside conversations, and reflective rites, participants learn the difference between the child they have been and the young man they are becoming.
